MOU with HELEX
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between SENTRAL College Penang and Hall of English Language Examinations (HELEX) on 1/3/19. The objective is to introduce Vocational English Certificate (VEC) awarded by the University of Greenwich U.K. to students pursuing Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE) under the School of Education and General Studies at SENTRAL College Penang.
DECE is designed for those who genuinely love children and are passionate about teaching. Incorporating an element of professional bodies in our program curricula enhances our students’ English language proficiency and ensures that they get the relevant recognition required and as a result the industry gets suitably qualified graduates as employees.
