Active Aging Campaign
To reciprocate the contribution of senior citizens towards our nation, the students of SENTRAL sitting for the Community Service paper in collaboration with the Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita dan Keluarga (JPWK) organized the ‘Active Aging Campaign’ on 2/11/2022 to encourage senior citizens to stay active, healthy and socially engaged. The event is divided into three main workshops – Social Media Workshop, Guidance for a Safe Online Shopping and A Complete Guide to Financial Assistance. According to research by the United Nations, when senior citizens live an independent, positive and healthy lifestyle a country’s social and economic development improves significantly. We believed the participants had an enriching time with us.
