Educational Visit to The Cerebral Palsy (Spastic) Children’s Association of Penang
The Child Debut Club of SENTRAL College Penang made an educational visit to The Cerebral Palsy (Spastic) Children’s Association of Penang on 19/10/18. The Association provides children and young adults’ education and rehabilitative therapeutic programs.
The Association aims to develop the individual’s independence, confidence, self-esteem and helps them to achieve their full potential. The Child Debut Club members had an interesting and immerse experience connecting with the children and young adults during the visit. Importantly they had the opportunity to relate classroom learning to the real world situation.
As part of their Corporate social Responsibility, SENTRAL College Penang gave RM1,000 to the Association. Students from the Child Debut Club pursuing the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) (Hons) and Diploma in Early Childhood Education programmes and staff raised RM487 for the Association.
The visit truly expands the intellectual horizon of the students.
