Financial Awareness Workshop by EPF
The School of Business & Management hosted a Financial Awareness Workshop with the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Northern Regional Office on 3/4/24. The workshop focused on personal financial planning and the significance of EPF contributions for retirement. Led by Mr Bala Murugan Naidu, the Outreach Advisory Lead from EPF, the sessions emphasized EPF’s role in post-employment financial stability.
The sessions also covered EPF’s functions and benefits, including account opening guidance tailored for final-year students entering the workforce. EPF representatives assisted the students with account opening and queries.
Overall, the workshop provided practical knowledge for informed financial decisions, aligning with SENTRAL’s commitment to holistic education and professional preparation.
