From Classroom to Industry: A Career Development Journey at Ascentec Engineering
On 2/10/24, students from our Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSE) program, currently studying the Career Development Course, had the privilege of visiting Ascentec Engineering in Batu Kawan.
The primary goal of this visit was to enhance students’ soft skills and better prepare them for future professional environments. During the visit, the students engaged in insightful discussions and asked thoughtful questions about their career development. They gained firsthand experience observing the pressures of a production line, particularly in handling CNC parts. This exposure highlighted the importance of applying soft skills to navigate complex manufacturing challenges effectively. Students learned how crucial it is to work within a stable, customer-focused organization dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services.
