International Meatless Day 2021
Annually, the 25th of November is declared as International Meatless Day. People are encouraged to go on a meatless meal on the said day. Since the concept was developed, it has gained momentum with over 10 million pledges across the globe. Together with YB Phee Boon Poh, Penang State Exco Member, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment, Mr. Khoo Boo Lim, the Executive Director of StudyPENANG, Dr. Chiang Geok Lian, the CEO/Principal of SENTRAL College Penang signed the pledge to go meatless on 25/11/21, the International Meatless Day. The event was led by Dato’ Pishu Murli Hassaram, the Malaysian Meatless Day Campaign Committee Chairman.
