- 1A’s : 20% Tuition Fee Waiver
Terms and Conditions:
- The scholarship awards are open to all qualified Malaysian students who have sat for SPM/UEC/STPM/Diploma/A-Levels examinations and are new students of SENTRAL College Penang.
- Application of the scholarship is based on actual examination result. Trial/Forecast examination results are NOT acceptable.
- The scholarship awards are only applicable to one selected programme for the duration stated as below:
BSc Business and Management 3 years / 2 years BSc Accounting and Finance BSc Business and IT Diploma in Business Studies 2 years 4 months Diploma in Accounting Diploma in Computer Systems Technology Diploma in Tourism Management - The scholarship recipients must achieve and maintain a minimum level of academic performance (GPA 3.50 for every semester – result calculated does NOT include MPU courses) to continue to be eligible for the scholarship.

This scholarship is announced under the prerogative of the Board of Directors or the Principal on special circumstances whereby such awards are given to financially challenged students with excellent academic result.
External Scholarships
SENTRAL works closely with The Star newspaper to provide Scholarships to students to pursue programmes at SENTRAL. These scholarships cover a wide range of fields and disciplines, from entry-level programmes to undergraduate education and professional studies. The best thing is the scholarships are all bond-free.
Applicable to students who are enrolled in the following programmes offered by SENTRAL:
- BSc(Hons) Business & Management
- BSc(Hons) Digital Business
- BSc(Hons) Accounting & Finance

Eligibility:
- Malaysian citizens not more than 25 years of age
- Excel in extra-curricular activities or active in sports
- Not bonded to or in receipt of any financial aid or awards from other educational institutions or organisations
- Possess reasonably good result in SPM / UEC or equivalent (for Foundation / Diploma courses).
- Possess reasonably good results in STPM / UEC or equivalent (for Degree courses)

- Applicant is required to meet a minimum CGPA of 3.0 every semester to continue the scholarship.

Financial Aids / Loans

PTPTN provides education loans to students pursuing their diploma and degree in local institutions of higher learning. Applications must be made using the Education Loan Application Form which is available from PTPTN or SENTRAL College Penang. The completed application form must be submitted through SENTRAL College Penang within the specified date, i.e. twice every semester.

The High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur has been providing financial assistance under the ISTF to Malaysian students of Indian origin pursuing full-time diploma and degree programmes in institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. However, please note that the scholarship does NOT cover the full cost of studies and it is only a one-time financial assistance. The Indus Education Fund was established to provide interest-free loans to Malaysian students from unprivileged communities to pursue pre-university, undergraduate and professional courses/studies (except medicine, dentistry and pilot training) at recognised Private Higher Educational Institutions (IPTS) in Malaysia. Penang Future Foundation Scholarship funds youth 25 years old and below to undertake full-time undergraduate studies at public and private institutions (IPTA and IPTS) in Malaysia.
MQA accredited programmes in Science (exclude Medicine), Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and Accountancy & Finance.
Priority will be given to Penangites or those who have studied in Penang and students who demonstrate excellent leadership, communication skills, teamwork and or other non-academic achievements.
