The Orange Challenge – “ESCAPE Sexual Abuse”
The Penang Goes Orange campaign finale was held at ESCAPE Theme Park with over 1000 participants taking part in “ESCAPE Sexual Abuse”. The participants were challenged over 10 different obstacles which were chosen to help build greater awareness on sexual abuse against women. The event was officially closed by YB Chow Kon Yeow, the Chief Minister of Penang. Also present were YB Chong Eng, State EXCO for Women and Family Development, Gender Inclusiveness and Religions Other than Islam & Chair of PWDC Board of Directors and Mr. Sim Choo Kheng, the CEO of Sim Leisure Escape Theme Park. Though the campaign is over, we shall continue to fight any form of violence against women. Collectively we can make a difference.
